PlayStack is comprised of a team of 25 in our London office with seven more working on our bespoke technologies in Krakow, Poland. Since founding the company in 2016 we have published one VR and two mobile titles with 10 more games due this year and many more in the pipeline spanning every platform and genre. We want PlayStack to be a disruptive force in the industry and are looking for new members of our high performing team.

 

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a QA Lead with a passion for ensuring quality and a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude to overcome technical and process challenges. To succeed in this role you will need experience as a professional games tester at a lead level. You should be exceptionally organised, experienced managing other testers and adept at running and defining processes in an evolving team.

  • As a Lead QA you will build and manage a small but growing team of testers/games players.

  • Collaborate with Engineering & Design teams to ensure requirements are met and the quality improved

  • Help manage the flow of tasks through development, QA and sign-off; developing new processes as standardisation as needed to improve the workflow

  • Effective reporting of bugs and support the Development team in debugging and fixing these

  • Manage and take ownership for the setting of reference scores for games used in research

  • Lead, coach and support a team of QA testers to be the best they can be

  • Work with your QA team to produce detailed test plans and test cases

  • Responsible for the technical Submission and Release of our games on the app stores

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proven QA testing experience

  • Experience facilitating or managing teams

  • A passion for both automated and manual testing

  • Exceptional prioritisation skills to manage a large pipeline of tasks

  • Effective communication skills to foster cohesive working relationships

  • Familiarity with popular games across a variety of genres and platforms

  • Working knowledge of industry standard quality assurance principles

  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people with different requirements and ways of working
